There are a few things that make movies great. They’re entertaining, they’re educational and they’re memorable. But one thing the movies don’t do very well is take a serious look at the real people behind a film. If it was good at one point of the movie, like say, the good guy/ bad guy scene, don’t expect it to be good at the end.
Why is the movie “Brokeback Mountain” so good? I know its the action (that, to me, is always awesome), the acting (from a certain era), and most likely the music (because that is what I love). But its also the script, the story, and how the character, Brogan, talks. In a few words, it is the best movie Ive seen.
I was born in Seoul in 1975 and my dad and older brother were in the USA for school. My parents were immigrants to the US. But for me personally, being born in Seoul is a big step up, im still a little bit of a foreign student. So movies like Brokeback Mountain are always a great choice for me. In my opinion, if the movie made me cry, its a good movie.
Ive got to be honest though, before this, I couldnt imagine myself seeing this movie without seeing, or watching, at least one of these films with this title (I havent seen any of them, but all in my opinion are wonderful). It is all about the man that has to get up and face his situation, with a lot of fighting and a lot of violence.
The key to a successful relationship is the man with the power, the man with the skill, the man that is selfless like a true friend, the man who will sacrifice anything and anyone to be with another person in a committed intimate relationship. Old blog: I thought that this was the first book you had read in awhile and it had really opened up some amazing truths, some of what I realized, but also some things I still can’t believe.
I havent read the book, but I am inspired by many of these concepts. Ive read many of these writings already and, in my mind, theyll apply to our daily lives and our relationships. New blog: A few thoughts from a few others Ive read that apply to our everyday: If you are going to take the time to figure out what youre doing with your time, how you spend that time is probably where the real enjoyment will come from.
