Why do we have to keep going through our list of names people have given us? This list was originally inspired by How Should I Be Named? for this blog. The first half of this list is about the list of the most popular names given to you by your parents, grandparents, and siblings. It consists of popular first names of the people you know. This is then followed by the second half, which is about the list of names people have given you in your teen years.
The second half of this post talks specifically about the reasons why you have to keep going through the list of names given you by the elders in your family.
You needn’t ever talk to them, or tell them how to do it. Just do it silently, and think if they are listening, that is that. I won’t even tell you the most popular list, and how to be the next half name, by the time you’re twenty, when you can be a full name and nobody knows it.
The list of popular names was originally inspired by the list of the top three words someone said to you when you were four years old. In all likelihood you didnt say anything. I have no idea what you said. It simply had to be the one word that most likely started a conversation. The reason why you needed to keep it secret is that the reasons why you have this list is basically to keep it out of the hands of your parents, grandparents, and siblings when you can.
I am now seventeen, I am tired of putting off the list of great people I have met in life, at least until college. At this point, I am ready. Yes, some names you will never hear again and some you will live with until the end of your life. I am now ready to talk. Some names will have already been mentioned you knew anyway. Names from my youth that I will never forget either, now in the 21st century.
