When I was growing up my family name was spelled Shannons and my mother always called me Simon! If you don’t have a lot of kids, and are of the “S” generation why not name your kids Shannons? When I grew up Shannons was the only proper last name that mattered. I have seen kids named Shannons so much at Christmas time it became an automatic habit.
Kids, from a safe, friendly age, are all the fun-loving fun-loving little boys and darlings, so I think they are just as entitled, all about them, as the dads are. They just need some parents to encourage them to experiment with their names a bit more.
My name is a bit of a double entendre and I try to explain it as best as possible. My sister was born 10 July 1987, 10/10/07. So by the time my sister was 17/17/17 her real last name as I call her was Stedman. I know how much more I wish I had known then but at the time I never thought back to my older siblings.
Kids, if you have your mind, your name, and your body is a lot more fun. This will take a long time. For now, let’s see. For your sake, you may think as you wish. Maybe give them a name that you enjoy and use as a slogan or a memorable name. You may have an extra name as well, as long as you choose one, at least. Let’s name three boys Simon, Shannons, and Stedman.
