If you look long enough in the history books, you just might get the perfect name, but if you’ve been on the internet in a mere 20 days you could be staring up at a brand for a very different reason. In the 20th century, there used to be only five people in the world who could actually pronounce the name of a company right.
Most companies dont sell their products online. A name with the correct pronunciation was the first step toward opening that sales channel. However today we have the most powerful communications tools available including the internet, which is the best place for communication between brands. It is the only means for marketers and brand creators to reach the masses, yet we continue to deny this fact. But now, thanks to the internet, we can easily research names and learn the pronunciation even if the individual is no longer alive.
In fact, there are over 90 trillion brand names around the world, and a complete list of all of them is not something that is going to be in my next book. However, I thought your idea was just too good to miss, so I took the time to gather my data, put it online, and I’ve put all of this data together for some really cool stuff. The top 50 company names out there are ones, that the average person mightnt even know about.
This is something that has been lost in the ages for a reason: brand names. We all know and use the names of people and things to identify ourselves and our personal values. But Ive been saying for ages that names are the way to really make our brand a presence. They should be used as tools for communication, but without fear or shame in order to give the message that your product or brand is powerful and important to others.
