The next step is to add your favorite toppings. Ive found that if I add a little salt, some cheese, and a nice green onion, then it tastes great. If you add some cheese and a green onion, it’s not as good, but still tasty. I find that if I use the same toppings on both lasagna dishes, I tend to have a easier time.
I have a confession to make, I don’t have a green onion. It isn’t on the list of vegetables on my kitchen’s list of things to make when I grow up. I wish there was a way to grow them, but it seems like a chore like growing your own orchids. Also, I haven’t had an opportunity to grow it so I don’t know if that would be a good thing.
I’m not suggesting that you grow it. You can only grow green onions. Like the green bell pepper, they’re an annual. They’re not going to grow into a big bulb that you can take out and grow into a “lush” vegetable. But they’re a pretty good substitute for green onions.
