I just recently had the chance to be a part of a Discovery Meeting. The group met in the middle of a huge park in downtown Portland, OR. It was a really nice group of like-minded people, and I thought it was really helpful to hear the things other people were thinking about the problems they are having trying to figure out how they can get through their problems.
The Discovery Meeting was not a ‘fun’ meeting. It was not one of those ‘we have a ton of fun’ meetings. They are in the middle of a huge problem, and they are all trying to figure out how to get through it. It really was a great meeting of people that were passionate about the problem and just trying to help each other out.
Discovery meetings are one in a series of meetings that help the user solve problems. They don’t solve the problem. They help you figure out how to solve it. The problem is that there is a huge gap between what the user is doing and the actual problem they are trying to solve. By the end of the meeting, the user has a better understanding of the problem they are trying to solve.
As we discussed at the meeting, our users are often too busy, distracted, and just plain lazy to do the little things that actually help make their lives easier. They are often missing the point. For example, they are often unable to figure out why they are trying to use Google Maps to find their location when it doesnt always do what they want it to. We often point out that there is a huge gap between what they are doing and the actual problem.
This is a very good point. In our experience many users have a tendency to think that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. For example, a user of ours who is always on the go might think that they can just walk into a place and say, “I’m going to buy a new couch!” For most people, though, this just isn’t true. Instead, they just end up looking around and finding a place to park their car.
The user in this example thought that they could simply walk into a place and say, I’m going to buy a new couch. Unfortunately, the user also found out that he already has a new couch and bought it while he was on vacation.
The main goal of this book is to get you to the bottom of this problem. If you’re reading this first, you’ll realize that even if you have a lot of information to work through, you’re not going to get much of a clue about what you’re up against by the end of the book.
So the concept of discovery is the process of gathering information and creating new knowledge. It is the act of learning something new about yourself. The process of discovery is all about gathering the right information, then working through it in the right way. For example, the idea of discovery is that you go to a park and walk around, picking up a few things you dont normally see, and you try to figure out what you are and what you are not.
Discovery meeting is the meeting place where you sit and figure out what you are and what you are not. For example, this is just a meeting to figure out what you are, but it can also be a meeting to figure out what you are not.
The reason for these meetings is that the people who have the most knowledge about the game are the ones who are most interested in playing the game.
