Sam Obrian is a good friend of mine and his book is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. He has also done a phenomenal job of describing what it takes to be self-aware in his blog. As someone who has also written a book about it, I understand why so many people are drawn to it.

I think the reason that I feel this way is because I want to be a writer. I love writing. I have a passion for it, but I can’t act on it because I’m not a writer. It’s like being a musician: You can’t really become that because you’re not an actual musician.
