We are closing and we are sad.
We are closing. We are closing.
We are closing because we want to be honest and upfront with you. And not just with you. We are closing because we can no longer keep the door open for you. We have tried to be honest and upfront with you. We have tried to be really, really honest and upfront with you. But that just isn’t possible anymore.
We are closing, but not because of you. We are closing because of the fact that this is our final chapter. The point of this final chapter is to give you and your friends both the closure you have been hoping for and the closure you never wanted.
The past 10 years, the studio has grown into a multi-million dollar enterprise. We have been so successful, we have become, in a way, a company. We have become so wealthy that we no longer have to worry about how to pay our bills. We are no longer beholden to you or anyone. We will no longer be able to pay our bills.
This is a very sad moment for all of us, but it also means that we are closing the studio doors for good. We all have made so much money and we all have so many great ideas for the future, but the past 10 years have taught us that we are not going to continue to make games unless we can find a way to pay for them. The studio is going to have to find a way to pay for itself.
It’s been a great 10 years! Thanks to all of you for your dedication and hard work. We won’t rest until we make a game that stands the test of time.
We are not closing. We are just wrapping up the process, and we’re going to focus on making a game that will make money for us. We think we’re pretty close, but we’re not there yet. But we will make sure to do what we do best and make something that will last.
We have made games that will last. We are making games for a reason. We are not closing. We are not going anywhere. We are not closing.
I’m sorry we’re not giving you a more “normal” end. But I do hope that you’ll stick around for a little longer and play a little more.
