The biggest single question I get about this topic is “What is the business-to-business (b2b) online purchase and sale (supply and service) of supplies and services?” I get this question a lot.
Supply and services are the two most generic elements of B2B online purchasing. They are basically anything you can buy and sell, but most of the time they are sold to companies that provide products and services for companies. They are usually sold on an as-needed basis, meaning customers can buy supplies and services that they need while the company is in office, and they can also be purchased from companies that provide them directly.
There are plenty of companies that provide the supplies and services that companies need. In fact, a lot of the largest companies in the world (Apple, for instance) have their own supply chain of suppliers and services. However, as stated above, most companies buy these supplies and services directly, and many also have their own in-house logistics centers.
The most important thing to know about these products and services is that they are designed specifically for the business. If you buy a supply of supplies and services directly, they will automatically be sent to your business. If you buy and supply products directly, they will not be sent to your business.
When we were discussing these things with a friend yesterday, I said that we’re going to look into buying two of the five top-selling items for the first time. We need to look at the logistics of buying and selling, and how many products are going to be shipped first and then to the end.
We were supposed to be doing a case study for a client this week. We do a lot of business-to-business research for clients, so I want to know if we have any other questions that I should be aware of if we’re going to do this case study.
If you have any questions about these things, let me know, but before I continue with this discussion, let me first make sure you understand what I’m talking about. That’s the idea behind a case study.
